Why are you a nanny?
I'm a nanny because I love seeing the development of children throughout all stages of their growth. I've always known I wanted to work with kids, even as a child, I would line up my stuffed animals in a row and pretend I was a teacher. Being a nanny is very rewarding because I get to have a lasting positive impact on children's lives.
What is your approach to childcare or childcare philosophy?
I believe in mutual respect between adult and child. I also value a gentle parenting style. I believe in encouraging creative thinking and problem-solving as well. I strongly believe love and affection (nurture) is the most important element to development of children into healthy adults.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Drawing/Painting, anything where I get to be creative. Being in nature and traveling. I just got married, so me and my husband value always improving ourselves through reading, attending business events and growing our skills.
