Maria is a professional coloratura soprano with 8 years of experience singing operatic and liturgical repertoire.
Major choral works include Brahms Requiem, Prayers of Kierkegaard, and Mozart's Mass in D minor.
She studied voice with Margaret Girdzius from 2016-2017, Shallece Peters from 2019-2023, and Dr. Aaron Agulay in 2023. Some of the repertoire she has worked on includes "Alleluia" from Exsultate Jubilate by Mozart, "Steal Me, Sweet Thief" from The Old Maid and the Thief by Menotti, "Be Kind and Courteous" from a Midsummer's Night Dream by Britten, "Dass sie hier gewesen" by Schubert, "The Last Rose of Summer" by Britten, "Un Moto Di Gioja" from Le Nozze De Figaro" by Mozart, and "I Know That My Redeemer Liveth" from Handel's "Messiah."
She has also been in the chorus of "Amahl and the Night Visitors" by Menotti and Fall 2023 Opera Scenes at UW-Milwaukee.
