I consider myself to be an energetic person. I have great communication skills both english and Spanish, great phone etiquette, friendly, caring, honest, well organized in my area of work and I like to work diligently to accomplish my daily tasks that have been assigned to me. Being punctual at my job is also a must for me.
I would like to mention that I do not have much computer knowledge but with some training and my eagerness to learn I believe that I would be a great candidate for the opening position of front office receptionist.
Started volunteering as a sub for grades k5-8th grade in 2015. In August of 2023 I was hired as a paid substitute. I truly enjoy being in the classroom with the students and enjoy subbing in any grade that is needed. Some grades are more challenging than others but when you enjoy what you do at the end of the day it is a rewarding job.
At my current position as a sub, I am also asked to work the front office. Working the front office gives me the opportunity to interact and help assist parents. I also assist teachers by making phone calls to parents, making copies, greeting guests, translating to Spanish speaking families that walk in needing information about the school, taking messages and directing them to the correct person as well as checking the mailbox.
I have been volunteering at Annunciation of the Lord Catholic church since 2003. I have assisted in many areas such as a money counter, lector, catechist , youth group, Sea food Fiesta and with the Kermes.
My kids currently attend Saint Bernard so I volunteer at numerous events such as the Blooming Festival, Open house also any fundraiser events that took place throughout the school year.
