As part of the school curriculum, we had to plan a project where we could educate the community of 33033 about how to implement healthier habits that will help them reduce the risk of Diabetes, Hypertension, and cardiovascular diseases. As the team leader, I was able to obtain donations from Publix supermarket to distribute along with a pamphlet that contained important information from places such as MyPlate.gov, the American Heart Association as well as American Diabetes Association.
