Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners

I was a member of this board from 2013-2019.  For this position, you are selected by the Governor of the State of Texas. As a member of the board, we would meet quarterly in Austin. Among many responsibilities, the board is responsible for policies and procedures that affect Social Workers statewide. The board also has the responsibility of hearing cases that have been reported to and make decision in regards to that social worker's actions.
