For the 22/23 and 23/24 school years I served as the Lead Intervention Specialist at the building level. The Lead Intervention Specialist is in charge of holding monthly department meetings to review compliance and trending topics in special education, ensuring all documents are following district policies, maintaining building-wide spreadsheets that are monitored by special education coordinators and provide guidance and mentoring to other intervention specialists and teachers.
