As a Teen Parent Specialist I, I ensure that our Residents have a safe and supportive team of whom they can trust. I also teach our Residents the many life skills needed as Teen Mom's that will help them be successful in the future. As a staff member, I also have the following duties:

. Ensuring our Residents prepare themselves and babies for the day.

. Administer Psychotropic/OTC medications. Process medications received during my shift and inform Residential staff via email of new medication arrivals.

. Transporting residents/child to required appointments and ER when necessary.

. Teaching them everyday life skills, parenting skills, and guiding them through the transition.

. Listening to their concerns and guiding them in the proper direction of assistance.

. Involve them in extracurricular activities.

. Be an extra support system for each of our residents.
