My favorite hobbies are my band, dancing salsa music, and painting. I am very active with all of them and have incorporated regular activities on my daily life. I feel that being active with my hobbies are an important part of showing myself the self love I aim to live by, and that being active also contributes to making me a happy and better person.

I started playing the piano during my Elementary years and joined the band since then, at about 8 years old. When I started Middle School my Band teacher introduced me to the flute and I fell in love with the instrument. I have been part of private and school bands for more than 6 years and have joined them on several concerts, performances at school events, and MPA shows, in the city and even on a State level. I have also been honored to receive solo performance awards for 3 years and have even performed on private concerts at venues such as the Youth Fair and the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital for 2 years in a row.

Maybe driven by muy passion for music, dancing has also become a passion recently. I am part of the Salsa Club at school and have performed as well at school events. I enjoy how dancing is an activity that disconnects my mind and allows me to feel connected with myself in a joyful and fun way.

Painting is probably the activity that has been present in my life for the longest time and maybe my first connection to my artistic side. I have enjoyed pinging since I was a little girl, even before my school years. During my Elementary years I won’t a first place award at a fair for best paining and have always been very proud of my creations.
