I had several groups in charge in different areas such as language and literature, natural sciences, social sciences and development of thought.
I carried out daily, weekly and annual plans for the development of skills and abilities, which were adapted to each of the needs not only of the various groups, but in some cases were adapted to individual educational needs.
At the beginning of the day, I would receive the group in which I would work with. As a teacher, I monitored attendance and verified that I had all school supplies for the development of the educational day
I performed as a group educator in which I had to work with the teachers of the group to verify their performance; academic as well as behavioral, and worked directly with student representatives to plan and track improvements.
Encouraged critical thinking skills by providing stimulating activities that promoted creativity and problem-solving.
Collaborated with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary lessons that incorporated multiple subject areas.
Maintained accurate records of student grades, attendance and disciplinary actions.
Created a positive classroom environment that was conducive to learning through effective management strategies.
Attended faculty meetings, professional development workshops and educational conferences.
Counseled students regarding academic performance issues or personal concerns.
I held the position of head of the Natural Sciences area in which I would verify the strategies, methods, techniques and activities planned for various groups and the planned tests. Also observe classes to verify that everything planned is carried out and that all the moments of the class are fulfilled such as the beginning, the body and the closing.
Assessed student progress using a variety of methods, including tests, quizzes, observations and portfolios.
