Currently implementing the Tools of the Mind Curriculum with fidelity. Presently writing weekly lesson plans reaching all the goals and objectives of the curriculum as well as the New Jersey Preschool Expectation Standards of Quality. Implementing a performance-based assessment system using Teaching Strategies Gold. This enables the evaluation of each child’s development and instruction that will scaffold his/her individual learning needs. Successfully collaborates with PIRT (Preschool Intervention and Referral Team) members implementing strategies needed to ensure children’s success in developmental areas. Creates and presents trainings on various topics to help other teaching staff. Provides ongoing guidance to paraprofessional in room to ensure students' needs are met using developmentally appropriate practices., Knowledge of various instruments used to evaluate high-quality preschool classrooms such as; Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale-R (ECERS-R), Supports Early Literacy Assessment (SELA), Supports for English Language Learner Classroom Assessment (SELLCA), Preschool Classroom Mathematics Inventory (PCMI), and Teaching Pyramid Observation Tool (TPOT).
