
FIELD WORK:
I create a personal connection with our customers, through emails, phone calls, texts, and physical visits, so that they feel that Arcwood is really there to support them. I communicate with our customers about their waste pick-ups, their new and old waste stream profiles, the paperwork that they need for their records, and anything else that they need help with. I assist in scheduling the trucks by filling out and sending out the order forms for the wastes/empties, and also by finding out what times and dates work best for us, and the customers. I collect waste samples. I create profiles for wastes. I assist with the waste pick-ups and empties drop-offs by printing and creating the LDR, manifests, and labels. I also assist with the waste pick-ups/empties drop-offs by going to the customer's locations and helping them through the paperwork and labeling. I complete lab packs, minus the truck driving, from start to finish. I join in with the other field technicians on manual, special, projects for our customers.
OFFICE WORK:
I answer phone calls and emails and help out whoever is contacting us. I train our new hire, Brett Patrick, on what my job entails, so that he can help out in the office with whatever we need him to. I work on/with physical papers/filing, MMS, MMS2, EIS, Quickbooks, Quickbase, Word, Excel, Wastelinq/Terralink, Outlook, Teams, our vendor's portals, and etc.. I take care of incoming and outgoing mail and packages. I inventory our office and make sure we always have everything that we might need. I create pricing breakdowns and estimates for our customers and our billing department. I communicate with out vendors about things that Arcwood and our customers need to get done. I keep track of and organize all of the pick-up/drop-off paperwork that we need to keep in the office. I help with anything else in the office that my coworkers need me to help with.
