Dedicated caregiver with a strong focus on compassion, reliability, and effective communication. Experienced in delivering personalized care and establishing positive relationships with clients.
Although my resume shows a history of advocating for people, I'm also an animal advocate. I have rescued and assisted in the rescue of a various array of wildlife, domestic animals and livestock, mostly but not limited to the city of Malden. I've worked with several local rescues assisting in identifying feral cat colonies. Trapping, checking for microchips, injuries, getting them the appropriate medical care and assessing behavior to see if they can be adopted or returned to their colony. I've worked alongside wildlife rehabilitators to capture injured or orphaned animals and assist in their care. Animal Control has contacted me to assist in rescue and placement of abandoned domestic animals, check on and capture injured/orphaned wildlife, help assessing if euthanasia is required and transporting to wildlife facilities. I've answered calls from residents to check on the welfare of wildlife, roaming dogs and cat issues. Throughout the years I've established relationships with animal rescues and wildlife rehabilitators giving me resources I can rely on.
