My name is Maria Olympia Vaca. I moved from a small town named Medina to Austin. Here I married my best friend. I’m also a mother who is willing to sacrifice and do anything to make her babies happy and feel safe. I am a very outgoing person and am willing to learn new things. Taking on some tough challenges is
something that keeps me motivated and eager to continue to accept whatever is thrown my way. I plan on becoming a Registered Nurse, but I would also love to expand my knowledge and enthusiasm to learning about other careers and jobs.
Glow Up Nutrition is a wellness café where we serve Herbalife products. At Glow Up we offered energizing teas, protein shakes, protein waffles/donuts, as well as wellness snacks. I had the pleasure of working with a wonderful group of hard-working women. It's a place to either go in before work to grab a filling breakfast, or to enjoy the day to gather with friends of family to enjoy our products
While working at Cricket, there were so many things I learned. One of those is that patience is everything in every situation. No matter how rough or long your day has been always remember that with your patience you can get through anything.
The Tooth Inc. was my first job since i moved here to Austin in August of 2020. The time that I have worked there was amazing. Seeing our patients come in, eager
to see us, would inlighten our day.
Working in child nutrition was one of my first jobs after graduating high school. Some of the responsibilities I would do are:
Medina ISD has been the only school i have attended. I was a student athlete trainer for four years in high school. My senior year, my head coach sent me to a summer camp at UT in Austin for four days to do further training so I could have more knowledge and experience of what was expected during athletic events.
For as long as I can remember, this place has been my home. I assisted father with ranch operations during the summer.
