I worked in the probation department, where I shadowed and assisted an APO, and PO's in any small task they would ask of me.

I would sit in the Magistrate's session, and pre-trial hearings with an APO or PO. Taking detailed notes of how the court operates, new terms I could research later, what occured in court that day, and and questions I wanted to ask a worker that day.

I would do intake forms every now and then to determine indegency.

Lastly, I shadowed someone on the computer, learning the fundementals on data bases, and finding an individuals CORI.
