I started out my career with Fieldale as a temporary employee mixing vaccine in egg transfer. After about a year, I became the Egg Transfer Supervisor. In 2008 I was promoted to Hatchery Clerk and did all office work for the hatchery. In 2009 I was promoted to Assistant Hatchery Manger and in 2010 I was promoted to Hatchery Manager. I learned everything I could about the job and worked my way up in the company with hard work and dedication to my job.
I am a hardworking individual that gives 110% at everything I do.
I am responsible for 22 layer houses and 6 pullet houses that the company owns and operates
I do all vaccinations for the pullets as scheduled
Weekly feed changes
Overall health evaluation of all birds
Check for feed and water for all houses
Program Choretronics in houses for recommended light and temperature that is needed
Order all future pullets 2 years in advance
Vaccine Inventory
Responsible for walking and removing dead birds daily
Weighed up feed needed daily and setup to run the next morning
Cleaned egg rooms daily
Disposed of cull eggs and double yolk eggs each day
Trayed up hatchery eggs 2 times per day per house with help
