I am responsible for 22 layer houses and 6 pullet houses that the company owns and operates

I do all vaccinations for the pullets as scheduled

Weekly feed changes

Overall health evaluation of all birds

Check for feed and water for all houses

Program Choretronics in houses for recommended light and temperature that is needed

Order all future pullets 2 years in advance

Vaccine Inventory

Responsible for walking and removing dead birds daily

Weighed up feed needed daily and setup to run the next morning

Cleaned egg rooms daily

Disposed of cull eggs and double yolk eggs each day

Trayed up hatchery eggs 2 times per day per house with help

• Responsible for all day to day operations of a HatchTech Single Stage hatchery
• Daily egg sets were 337,920 eggs 4 days per week for a total of 1,351,680 per week
• Monitored all incubator and hatcher profiles in machines
• Managed approximately 50 employees
• Daily payroll in Kronos for each employee
• Managed all egg pickup routes for 2 drivers to run all farms 2 times per week
• Mtech system - we did egg pickup, egg inventory, egg set, & chick hatch in Mtech
• 19 day transfer and all required vaccinations were noted and given to transfer supervisor to ensure proper vaccinations were mixed and administered correctly in-ovo
• Hatch day vaccinations were noted and given to the chick room supervisor to ensure all spray vaccinations on hatch day were mixed and administered correctly
• Approved daily egg set using lay date to create set.
• Monthly vaccine inventory to monitor daily inventory done by supervisors to ensure proper on hand inventory
• Ordered all vaccines as needed
• Using computer software I could install new programming on variable speed drives and PLC's
• Weekly broiler placement was done for the upcoming week- Me and my Asst. Manager worked the loads for 2 Smithway drivers to ensure proper chick delivery
• Monitored 4 drivers in Samsura
• AS400 was used for all purchase orders
• I knew all operations of the hatchery. It was a HatchTech Single stage which was built in 2005. It was fully automated with HatchTech and Viscon equipment. At that time, it was the only one in the United States-
