• Small group reading and math intervention/instruction. Collect and analyze data for instruction. Meet with teachers and administration to develop goals, review assessments and progress, determine RtI groups. Planned and implemented family literacy and math activities.

• Assessed, identified and instructed students that qualified for Title 1 services in the School District of Reedsburg. Worked with small groups of students in 1st-5th grades everyday.

• Worked with teachers and students in grades K-4 to increase reading achievement, 1 ½ days a week. Planned and implemented activities for small groups and individual students who were performing below grade level expectations. Also team taught with 1st and 2nd grade teachers during the reading block. Administered assessments and reported on progress.

• Taught First Grade and Third Grade in an open concept building. Led Professional Development in Reading and Math frameworks and techniqiues. Worked on various assessment committees in the district, writing standards and rubrics, aligning curriculum to state standards.

Nominated for “Reading Teacher of the Year” 1991.
