Summary

My goal is to learn as much as I can so that I am able to forward myself in this company, essentially to get into a Store Management position. I thrive on opportunities to grow and learn a lot at one time as well as to conquer challenges.

For instance, reflowing my department and my store while getting hit with way more freight that I had room for at the time.

The DMDP program that I am in has been very exciting, opening doors to learning so much more than just the basic curriculum of the program.

Getting the opportunity to go to other stores to help them also provides so much learning and growth!

I have been doing finals at the gun counter for months and now I am learning 3rd checks, dispos, gun receiving, its been very exciting!

I started in Camping in 2021, became a full time cashier soon after. I then got into the ICS position and almost a year later got the Fishing Manager Position. I have pursued management since I first started and was encouraged by an amazing management team throughout!

Working in a retail setting could not be this awesome at a Wal-Mart, being an Outfitter for Sportsman's Warehouse has been not only fulfilling but has given me to the drive to pursue it as a career!

Kitchen Manager

Spoons Restaurant
01.2016 - 01.2021

Overall, I came in for food prep early, helped prep all the food needed to serve for the day. I opened the restaurant and ran it for the day almost always by myself. I cleaned the kitchen from top to bottom and prepped everything we needed to open the next day.

I ran a handheld POS system and helped schedule employees for prep and to work in the second location.

I created very meaningful relationships with my former employer, other employees and especially our loyal customers.

We specialized in offering delicious affordable food for those with the most extreme food restrictions.

It was an amazing experience and 5 years of my life I would do over again if I could!
