I have worked with Maria for many years at St. Anthony's Medical Center Department of Radiology. I was Medical Director of the department from 2000-2005. Maria was always appreciated by my fellow radiologists as well as myself. Whenever we were confronted with a difficult situation or problem, she was always able to point out the bright side. She was always able to reach a physician for us whenever we had an urgent or emergent finding about a patient, often when others could not. I don't know how she could do it, but she could. Whenever I needed to cut through red tape, Maria could help.
