Nurse

Summary

As a 20+ year veteran in Geriatric Health, I have encountered many facets of my field. I have had the privilege of working with very successful companies. I have utilized my strengths in highly effective communication in the area of management, for educational purposes of staff and in community awareness. By conducting support groups, presentations, and training on topics such as Understanding Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, Customer Service, Death and Dying, and Understanding Diabetes. I am driven and dedicated to excellence in service. I have the ability to learn new systems quickly. Although a Licensed Practical Nurse by profession, with proven accomplishments in training new staff, policy and procedure, long term care, and senior care management, my passion is towards the elderly in providing and upholding dignified quality care they so rightly deserve.
