Eastern Shore Mission of Mercy, September 2024 and Mission of Mercy Shady Grove, April 2025

• Volunteered at free dental clinics in Salisbury, Maryland and Shady Grove, Maryland serving uninsured and low-income patients who lack access to routine dental care. Assisted alongside fourth-year dental students to provide essential services including cleanings, fillings, and extractions to individuals in need

Planet Smilez, August 2024

• Mentored children exploring careers in dentistry by guiding them through hands-on dental simulations. Introduced basic dental concepts and procedures in an engaging, age-appropriate way to inspire early interest in oral health and the dental profession.

Senior Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Initiative Organizer June - July 2024 

• Collaborated with AAPI leadership and Smiles on Wings to deliver free dental care to AAPI seniors with Medicaid/Medicare. Wrote a grant to fund dentures made by using 3D printing technology at no cost to patients. Designed and maintained an Excel database to track patient information and improve care delivery for underserved populations.

Leader of MD Teacher KN95 Mask Donation Drive for Smiles on Wings, January 2020

• Organized a mask donation event for over 300 KN95 masks to FCPS and MCPS teachers. Coordinated pickup times, communicated with teachers, tracked distribution, and personally packaged care kits with masks, ear savers, and handwritten notes.

• Vice President of Public Outreach for Miles for Smiles at UMD. Led social media campaigns and promoted the annual fundraising race supporting the Global Dental Brigades mission trip to Honduras.

• Designed flyers, newsletters, handouts, and social media posts for the fundraiser. Led advertising efforts, contacted donors, organized the event schedule, and helped run the event by coordinating food and ensuring smooth execution.
