• Started employment at Boyd Signs immediately after leaving Signs Inc due to the direction the company was going.
• I was hired as labor help to clean up the yard & inside the shop because of the potential work coming their way
• Started by breaking up pallets and old signage, to quickly be assigned work orders for fabrication needs due to my motivation and skill set.
• I shortly became the lead fabricator for large sign packages to which the company supplied to clients from, Las Vegas Casinos & Hotels, local hospitals & 5-star hotels

The role played in this was to receive all parts from the CNC / Laser, pre-fit and fabricate any custom parts to complete design & intent

• After all parts are considered acceptable to move forward, parts then go to paint and assembly to which I would quality inspect for further production and then I would be solely responsible for quality control, assembly, & then wrapping, packing & shipping in crates
• 6 years of being lead fabricator of a small business of 49 employees, I then became the assistant to my supervisor of 20 years in the company, to which a short time after I surpassed him in a leadership roll to decide how production was to be assigned, fabricated, scheduled & then shipped
• My duties then switched to a roll of dealing with the Sales team, project managers and the design team for fabrication intent
• I managed a crew of 20 employees on the fabrication side, the other 29 I dealt with on a daily basis as well from 'can we, or can't we' questions
• Work orders would start off with me after client approval and then I would assign, order materials after layout for the CNC / Laser & Installation needs
• I managed jobs from anywhere to 20 jobs in the shop to 80 jobs, but always having to know where every single job was at all times to be on schedule for due dates and installation deadlines
• My awareness to quality, being efficient, knowing how to manage employees and problem solving as well as communication are my STRONG points in life and as an employee.

• Started in the sign industry after the housing market took a crash after 9/11
• Sign fabrication became second nature to myself because of the background in construction that I was familiar with.
• I was a part of a small company, but throughout my 6 ½ years, I quickly became the lead fabricator & painter
• Work orders were supplied with a due date to ensure the installation crew were kept on schedule
• I managed 2 other fabricators who assisted in these deadlines
• I would then build all signage to specification of the clients needs and to code of City requirements
• Latex and enamel paint was required after fabrication as well as vinyl application
• I built model home signs from the size of 16'' x 24'' to Billboards the size of 12' x 30'
• Many of the times after a large billboard or sign was produced, I would then go out on the field to help assist the installation
• After the 6 ½ years of employment I noticed a decline in the company, so I decided to move forward
• 1 year later the company went out of business.

• Subcontracted building homes throughout the Fox Run Community in Northglenn, Co
• As well in the Broadmoor community in Broomfield
• I was part of a 2-man crew of just m & m Business partner.
• Received Blueprint layout of homes following by laying out subfloor, first floor walls, second subfloor, second floor walls & staying on schedule to boom trusses for roof framing & sheathing
• Punch list required after inspection, which included drywall backing, plumbing requirements to ensure other trades were given proper framing layout.
