With over 15 years of international experience in the engineering, construction, and energy sectors, I have developed extensive expertise in heavy lifting, crane operations, rigging engineering, load handling, transport logistics, and lifting assurance for large-scale offshore and onshore projects. Throughout my career, I have successfully led complex lifting and construction activities for major energy, petrochemical, mining, industrial, and infrastructure developments across multiple continents.
I have delivered challenging projects in Indonesia, Nigeria, China, Algeria, Democratic Republic of Congo, Brazil, Angola, Portugal, Greece, and Qatar, working effectively within multicultural and multidisciplinary environments while consistently achieving high standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
My experience includes the management of engineered lifting operations involving critical process equipment, modules, pressure vessels, ship loaders, conveyor systems, stacker reclaimers, structural steel, and oversized cargo transportation. I have been responsible for developing lifting strategies, reviewing engineering studies, coordinating logistics interfaces, and ensuring the safe execution of complex lifting operations from project conception through commissioning.
As Head of Heavy Lifting Activities, I provide leadership in the planning, coordination, and execution of critical lifting operations, fostering a strong safety culture while driving efficiency, innovation, and project delivery performance. I hold multiple international certifications, including LOLER accreditation, and maintain professional membership with ASME.
Committed to continuous professional development, I strive to combine technical competence, strong leadership, and practical field experience to deliver safe, efficient, and successful project outcomes in some of the world's most demanding industrial environments.
Led heavy lifting engineering and logistics coordination for hydrogen production plant expansion at Motor Oil Hellas Refinery in Corinth, Greece. Directed engineered lifting studies and major crane operations for installation of process equipment, pressure vessels, steel structures, and auxiliary systems in active refinery environment. Coordinated multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with refinery safety standards, project schedules, and quality requirements in complex lifting and construction operations.
Led the heavy lifting, transportation, and construction activities associated with the delivery and installation of two Class C Ship Loaders (≈1,100 tonnes each)for Qatar Energy, overseeing the full logistics chain from manufacturing facilities in China through final erection and commissioning on site. Directed all engineered lifting studies, transport analyses, crane operations, and installation methodologies for critical equipment and bulk material handling infrastructure, including conveyors, stacker reclaimers, structural steel, and associated mechanical systems. Successfully coordinated cross-functional engineering, logistics, and construction teams to execute complex heavy-lift operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and schedule performance.
