Adept in quality control and visual inspection, I leveraged my skills at Evers & Sons to ensure projects met ISO 9001:2015 standards and client specifications, achieving 100% traceability in project documentation. My proactive approach and expertise in Bluebeam Revu significantly enhanced operational efficiency and compliance.
Helped build expansion projects with Evers and Sons for Pioneer. This is where i started learning about the different crafts and getting hands on experience working in the field. I performed various tasks like, Bolting up flanges and torquing them to client's specs. I helped pipe fitters pull measurements and was handed isos to go look for pipe spools and fit them up for welders.
Traveled to different states doing Quality Control for Evers and Sons, Doing Civil, Welding, Painting and Coating, Making sure work satisfied the requirements of customers and ISO 9001:2015
I would check civil foundations and made sure foundations were built to drawings and checked rebar for proper lapping and clearance all around. Once Foundation was inspected i would fill out Concrete Release to Pour and have inspection team and civil foreman sign. I would also fill out Concrete Data Placement Sheet and input concrete slump and air results.
I would check in material and make sure fittings and pipe were the correct wall thickness and correct grade. I would also match material with MTRs and check for any discrepancies. Once welding started i would keep up with weld and heat mapping and get together with X-ray crews to shoot welds. I would redline isometrics on Bluebeam Revux64 if any changes were made and would add welder stencils and heat information on boxes and attach MTRs for every fitting and pipe.
I would inspect painting and coating done in the field, We would follow clients specs on profile and paint that was going to be used. I would check paint and make sure the surface profile was within spec. I would check paint had the correct amount of mills, and we were also painting in the ideal conditions the paint manufacture recommended.
I would create hydro test packs and sent to engineering for approval. Hydro test packs would have a Test Index with systems we were going to be testing, Along with a Test Plan that had Highlighted P&ID's and Volume Calculations. Test pack also included: Weld Maps, MTRs, Equipment Calibration Certs, Operator Qualifications (OQs), NDE, Welding Procedures and Welder Certs. I would also walk lines with P&ID's and make sure lines were tied into correct tie in points and lines were built according to isometrics.
Once projects were complete, I would put together a job book that was to be turned into client with all documentation for that project. All projects had 100% traceability. Job books were to be completed and turned in by 14 days of project completion.
