I've learned and educated myself along with others how to do the job and do it right, just by following the rules and guidelines set forth. Having constant safety meetings, routine vehicle inspections, and cargo securement trainings aided in the ability to maintain a great safety score and away from violations.

• Scheduler/Dispatcher-I've learned how to make phones to a variety of business associates to discuss freight availabilities, negotiate rates, set appointments, and

update customers on delivery and pickup times. That's how customer relationships were built or created, more importantly maintained. Being on time is vital to success.

• Attention to Detail-I observe how work is being performed daily. Paying attention, thinking, and analyzing daily functions made the job safer and better. We always have

to be aware of things, even more so, little things. Simply because one little mistake can cost greatly. Paying attention to detail has made me a better person and businessman.

• Management/Leadership-I have successfully accomplished doing this by everything I stated in the above paragraphs. Everything I have learned and experienced over the years has molded me with the capabilities, achievements, and accurate knowledge to uphold a management or leadership position. I have made many mistakes, however, knowing what the mistake was, understanding how the mistake happened, taking ownership of the mistake, admitting the mistake, and more importantly, learning from the mistake, is exactly how great leaders are made.
• Inventory Control- Keeping up with all the equipment, tools and etc. Knowing exactly what I have by keeping a list of everything.
• Recordkeeping/Data Entry-Maintaining all types of documents and making sure all information is up-to-date and current. Properly filing paperwork the way it is suppose to be done and correctly. Paying close attention to all data on the documents to ensure no careless mistakes being made.
• Payroll-I applied the understanding of how to pay in a variety of ways depending on the job performed. After properly calculating all earnings, I wrote paychecks, in which also led up to generating 1099s at the end of the year.
