Proven track record in enhancing operational efficiency and product quality at Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, demonstrating expertise in equipment operation and quality inspections. Skilled in safety management and cross-training, I excel in fostering professional relationships and driving continuous improvement, with a keen eye for defect monitoring and equipment troubleshooting.
I myself have had a history of substance abuse, I am a recovering alcoholic, and have been in treatment myself, and have first hand experience in going through the recovery process. Last September I went down to Georgia, and entered a facility for mental health, and substance abuse due to my drinking, mental health issues. While in Georgia, I attended programs throughout the day, and night. I also have helped facilitate groups with other patients, also other patients would tell me that I would help them a lot when I would precipitate in class, and group discussions when I would speak about my own experiences in order to get help myself, or ask for understanding in classes.
Also, my younger sister is an addict so I have knowledge with outburst, physical assault, and the effects of what active addiction does to a person, and the effects the family goes through while dealing with a family member in active addiction. While she has been in active addiction my family, and myself, have had to deal with cps, the foster care process for my niece, the courts and hearings.
My father is also 13 years sober come Nonmember of this year. Growing up as a young child into adulthood I have witnessed a lot when it comes to addiction.
I have had a long history of what people go through during active addiction, and recovery process.
I do attend AA meetings when my schedule allows, and when I need to reach out myself in times of need.
Back in 2022 I also attended treatment at Bear River, in Gaylord MI. So I know first hand what to expect in a substance abuse facility. I was sober on, and off for 9 months that year.
So I have wide range of knowledge when it comes substance abuse in many different forms, and the struggle of fighting this addiction.
I am not applying for this position for the pay check. I want to be able to assist, and help, and expand my knowledge, and assistant that I have learned to others who are fighting their own struggle, and demons this disease causes, on a person. Through this my hopes are to be a great candidate for this position, and strive to be the support these patients need to get help through their treatment.
I would like to add that I am hard worker, and passionate about this felid of work. I understand that ever patient walking in is dealing with their own battles, and each one is unique in their own recovery. I understand that their will be patients that are there, who don't want to be, and things will, or could escalate at times.
At the end of day, I want to feel proud about my job, and be a positive helping hand that these patients need!!
