Maris Gantenbein

.I am Maris Gantenbein, a current first-year student at Washington State University. I am a well-rounded, personable, hard worker who is willing and eager to work at a high level as an active team member.

• Outside of my school life, I also danced. On average, I danced for 3 hours a day 5 days a week. This has been my passion for about 14 years now and I can't imagine where I would be without my dance education, teachers, and peers. Some lessons that dance has taught me is how to work hard, become fully dedicated to something, and to never give up.
• I also am a volunteer/resident of a pet rescue called Willy Lucky Pet Rescue, we rescue animals from euthanasia (we get them from a local vet who has them signed over to her care). Once the vet handles their immediate health issues, we take them and rehab them until they are healed and once they are cleared we get them into their forever homes.
• At Washington State University I am a member of Chi Omega and have a position in the Cabinet as the Historian. Being in a sorority has taught me how to be a leader and an active team member, as well as how to work with all types of different people. It has also elevated my skills of being personable, dependable, loyal, kind, and dedicated.
