Cultural Education Liaison for New Richmond Youth Hockey Association 2023-Current

As the Cultural Education Liaison, I operate as the the local point of contact with the Wisconsin Amateur Hockey Association (WAHA) to ensure that USAH Codes of Conduct are reviewed and signed by coaches, players, parents, association officers. I also assist in the pre-season, mid- season, and post season education of the hockey association stakeholders (coaches, players, officials, parents, and association leaders). Also, I am responsible for making sure that these resources are shared in a productive manner with the pertinent stakeholders. I work with all association leadership and arena managers to establish, post, and announce spectator behavior expectations,a nd recruit others to help maintain a positive, healthy culture for member athletes and families.

Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee Member 2021-Current

The Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) is established by federal mandate at institutions that use live, vertebrate animals for research, teaching, and testing activities. The IACUC oversees and evaluates all aspects of the institution's animal care and use. Our committee meets bi-annually, for on-site inspection and review, unless special additional meetings are required.

The Minnesota Veterinary Medical Reserve Corps (MNVMRC) is an "all-hazards", "all-emergencies" volunteer responder program. We provide veterinary support, assistance and training, to communities which may be affected by local or regional emergencies/disasters. The MNVMRC is comprised of members of the veterinary profession including veterinarians, veterinary technicians and veterinary assistants.
