Survey for Phytophthora in Clark's Creek, an undergrad research project through Pierce College in partnership with University of Washington evaluating the water of Clark's Creek for the presence of phytophthora. Our class collected samples at site, cultured sample in an agar petri dish, created a subculture, extracted DNA, did PCR, and used PCR product for both gel electrophoresis and DNA sequencing.
