Summary

I am an experienced Charge Nurse with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & health care industry. Skilled in medication administration, documentation, compliance, and triage. My goal is to treat every patient with the respect and dignity that I would hope my own family would be given if they were in a hospital or clinical setting. Often times in healthcare so many of our patients can be frightened, worried, or overwhelmed. As a nurses, we are often on the front lines of helping ease these fears and concerns. Our patient centered care has the ability to relieve these fears and anxieties. Through my years of patient centered care I have developed the skills to not only manage busy offices and floors, but also the emotional intelligence to help patients and their families cope with the stressors that the healthcare system can often bring. My experience lies in working with the underserved communities and large health systems. I have worked and managed large FQHC clinics while also managing floors at major health systems. At each, the patient remains at the center. Quality of patient care is at the center of care, always, in our practice. In my time I have learned numerous skills including triage, electronic medical record charting, leadership, collaboration, quality control, medication, administration, surgery circulation, physician collaboration, nursing care plan and management, and many more skills. I have worked with many amazing coworkers who have helped shaped my medical knowledge and practice. And I hope to continue to shape and mold that as I continue my nursing journey.
