P-8 certified in early childhood and special education, dedicated to fostering student success through diverse educational roles.
● Lead, support, monitor, and improve the implementation of school’s Multi-Tiered System of Support
● Schedule, monitor, and coordinate interventions and services (remediation/enrichment/acceleration/Gifted)
● Lead, observe, and supervise Intervention teachers
● Work with your Admin Team to schedule, coordinate and supervise school-wide testing and progress monitoring
● Work with your Admin Team to collect, analyze, and communicate data from school-wide testing and progress
monitoring
● Monitor and audit student portfolios, manage student withdrawal process as it pertains to RTI, student records,
portfolio documents
● Schedule and coordinate SST meetings with teachers and parents
● Coordinate and lead placement/retention of students
● Work with your Admin Team to develop rosters for upcoming school year
● Support and Monitor PLC Teams (You must attend all PLC team meetings) to address student concerns

● For k-5 Complete Georgia Early Literacy Courses as scheduled on the pacing guide and provide follow-up PL to all
teachers. (All certified K-5 staff members are to complete these courses unless they are currently participating in
LETRS training)
● Conduct Classroom Observations with Feedback (The minimum number of observations is 12 per week.
Observations must be a minimum of 15 minutes) All Observations and Feedback are Formally Documented with
Teacher Signatures. These documents are to be uploaded every week and shared with your Admin Team,
Curriculum Director, and Reading Recovery Specialist. Do not schedule your observations during assessment
time. All observations will be conducted during instruction time. All feedback from the MTSS Specialist should be
in a support role. Any other issue is to be handled by Administration (Principal of the school)
● Provide professional development to ensure that all teachers and school level specialist understand policies,
procedures, and responsibilities
● Meet with MTSS specialists to provide training and support and communicate daily with them to ensure
continuity and consistency of support and communication to others
● Lead behavior intervention team (up-date plans, protocols, documents as needed to accommodate
documentation accuracy) and meet with BIT quarterly for overall implementation as needed for individual
students/teachers
● Work with the Director of student services and Gifted teachers to identify students for gifted referral and testing
● Develop specific goals for gifted students and set quarterly meetings for progress monitoring (goals should be
set by teachers, but RTI Coordinators will direct how this will look based on district requirements.)
● Update MTSS manual yearly
● Respond to Emails and phone calls in a timely manner.
● Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal and other central office administrators as designated
by the Superintendent.
