Fundations- Wilson Language Training

• Completed comprehensive training in Wilson Fundations, a phonics and spelling program based on the Orton-Gillingham approach.
• Acquired expertise in delivering systematic and multisensory instruction for developing phonemic awareness, phonics, word study, and spelling skills.
• Collaborated with educators to share best practices and ensure the program's successful implementation.

Responsive Classroom

• Completed comprehensive training in the Responsive Classroom approach, a research-based program emphasizing social-emotional learning and positive classroom management.
• Developed expertise in integrating social-emotional skills into daily curriculum, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Be GLAD

• Completed 42 hours of training in second language acquisition, brain research, integrated instruction, strategies for literacy, ELA/ELD and content standards, flexible groups, front loading, cross-cultural sensitivity and respect.

Rotary International Service Project: Rio Dulce, Guatemala

• Volunteered as a teacher at Ak'Tenamit, a school for indigenous Mayan youth, to develop English speaking and writing skills.
