- Preparing the overall full sets of accounts.
- Responsible for the month end closing.
- Reporting the actual and accurate weekly cash inflows and cash disbursement for management information.
- Maintain the progress billing of the project with all appropriate documents.
- Maintain the subcontractor ledger with all appropriate documents.
- Coordinate with quantity surveyor regarding sub-contractors payment, Debit/Credit notes, retentions etc.
- Maintaining the cash book balances.
- Encoding the daily transactions in excel and posting to the accounting system.
- Preparing and processing of cheques/vouchers for payment.
- Responsible of releasing the cheques.
- Preparing monthly bank reconciliation.
- Pass all necessary entries for adjustment.
- Petty cash custodian.
- Liaise with the bankers.
- Coordinate with the auditors when interim and year end audit.
- Ensure that invoices, bills, expenses report and other charges are processed in timely manner.
- Maintain and ensure all fixed assets are correct and properly accounted.
- Receiving calls from suppliers/subcontractors enquiring cheques/payments.
- Perform other duties to meet the ongoing needs of the accounts team
