Oversee the maintenance of concrete pumps and class 8 trucks and F450 and F550 work vehicles. Maintain telehandlers concrete pump placing booms . Perform annual inspections. Assist the mechanics in my shop to help complete repairs in timely and correct manner. Assure that they had the supplies and parts and tools and service information necessary to be successful . Coordinate repairs with dispatch to ensure repairs are done and equipment and trucks are ready and available when needed. Manage parts inventory and keep electronic records of repairs and parts in stock and parts used in repairs. Source parts for vehicles and equipment and shop supplies. Perform repairs and pull maintenance on vehicles and pumps and equipment to keep up with demands and fill in when mechanics were on vacation or we were short staffed.

Maintain concrete pumps and trucks in a safe and effective manner. Perform mechanical repairs and welding repairs to pumps and trucks. Make emergency field repairs to trucks and equipment. Order parts and shop supplies and maintain the shop facility and equipment, including a water recycle system for steam cleaning pumps and trucks. Perform DOT inspection of trucks and make repairs to keep them safe and reliable. Source and order parts for repair and maintain an adequate parts inventory to keep vehicles and equipment serviced and operational and perform day to day repairs as needed. Test drive trucks to validate repairs were successful, drive pumps to jobsites in emergency situations when another pump was needed or time constraints did not allow a repair to be performed immediately.
