Filament Winding Technician

Performing filament winding/hand layup and adhesive bonding on high quality spaceflight and qualification COPV'S

• Perform filament winding/hand layup and adhesive bonding with strong attention to detail using high quality pre-impregnated carbon fiber,adhesives to varies calibrated tools such as calipers,ruler scales,pi tapes,dial indicators to complete process.
• Work alongside with composites engineer and recommend on wind pattern angles that stay with in stress analysis tolerances.
• Trouble shooting filament winding machine and software systems.
• select and cure appropriate programs for curing of COPV'S.
• Following all manufacturing planning process specifications with attention to details and quality.
• Maintain composite rooms clean and organized to 5s standards.

Filament Winding Supervisor

Perform many tasks from filament winding machine maintenance inventory control on production materials overseeing team performance and providing production numbers to upper management working with excel spread sheets.

• Perform filament winding,setup,resin mixing,oven curing applications according to engineering drawings and specifications.
