• Tested, identified and troubleshot problems with B605 construction. Discovered and had corrected humidifier function errors leading to the proper atmosphere recovery actions.
• Mentored junior team members, sharing best practices in test engineering techniques and tools usage. Assigned as the mentor of Dave Thomas who now is the CWITT SONAR Lead.
• Reduced product defects by performing thorough root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. Review and correct over twenty SONAR test forms
• Conducted comprehensive system, integration, and user acceptance testing, ensuring software and hardware met all functional requirements. Collaborated with various contractors and project managers keeping construction of Columbia COATS on track. Developed and coordinated the testing of thirteen acceptance procedures vital to the construction of the Columbia CCSM. Reported progress status to D442, 441 and Columbia Ship's Management.
• Maintained up-to-date documentation of all test plans, procedures, results, and defect tracking databases for future reference or audits. Developed testing steps for over twenty Columbia SONAR test procedures.
• Trained and mentored 14 junior test engineers including CWITT contractors providing guidance and direction.
• Collaborated with other departments to facilitate successful B605 project completion.
• Collaborated with development teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve software issues promptly. Provided additional testing and operations to correct problems with towed array reporting to combat and ship control.
• Facilitated knowledge sharing sessions among testing team, elevating overall team expertise. Leader in monthly SONAR team training.
• Analyzed and interpreted data to identify trends and recommend improvements. Trend data for the B605 HVAC was instrumental in the discover of programming errors.

Configured Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) SONAR systems and updated documentation such as technical manuals and equipment maintenance records.

• Maintained SONAR systems on ships, troubleshooting and resolving detected issues to restore proper functionality. Repaired AC/DC circuits, digital and fiber optic circuits, power supplies and servo systems. Responsible for 16 Groton assigned submarines.
• Provided extensive training and mentoring to fellow personnel to convey experience and expertise in SONAR, acoustic equipment and enhance team performance. Supervised the performance monitoring of sixteen submarines with regards to SONAR Sensors.
• Completed projects by effectively applying engineering, technical, and maintenance procedures.
• Interpreted results of tests and drafted reports of findings. Provided data to SUBLANT for needed corrective actions for the sonar systems aboard 16 submarines.
