During this time period I helped develop and implement the Supervisor/Leadership program for both Salem and Hope /Creek Stations.

In addition to qualifying supervisors that were required to be in the program, training on industry operating events was given at all management levels of the organization from the supervisors up to the Chief Nuclear Officer. Some of the topics include, Davis Besse, Chernobyl and Fukushima to name a few.

Additionally, station focus areas, coaching, discipline, bargaining unit implementation, MARC, and many other leadership topics were covered.

During the first three years of this time period, I was responsible for the common group which included the Yard Dept., Scaffold, and building maintenance. The Yard Dept. was responsible for all mobile crane operations, excavations, snow removal, and landscaping. The Scaffold group erected most of the scaffolds at both Salem and Hope Creek as well as outages and building maintenance included minor repair, painting, ceiling tiles and minor plumbing.

The remainder of this time period was spent in the Mechanical Maintenance shop providing oversight and implementation of mechanical maintenance. Implementation included managing six supervisors and more than fifty mechanics during plant cycles and many more during plant outages.
