Led the implementation of the Chemical Environment Management System (CEMS)
The program receives, inventories, and delivers chemical and biological assets for the University
Since its inception, the CEMS team has processed 18k packages that has led to greater control of the University’s chemical inventory
We have since expanded the CEMS program to the Polytechnic, West, and Downtown campuses
This program led to the ULSCA Innovation award for 2022
Transformed the University’s delivery model to a Central Receiving System where packages, freight, and mail are directed to the Alameda warehouse for sortation and delivery
Implemented in January 2023, the new model has delivered over 125k packages and accountable mail
The concept of this model was to reduce traffic and congestion to all campuses and to improve delivery efficiencies
Overseen the electrification of the Materials Management vehicle fleet
We are in the process of removing older, more costly vehicles and replacing them with electric delivery vehicles that reduce fuel consumption and reduce our carbon footprint
We have purchased 6 Electric vehicles with charging stations on site
Assisted in setting up logistics services to the newly acquired ASU FIDM building in LA
On a very tight timeline, we were able to hire and train staff on ASU policies and procedures to ensure operation on day 1 of classes
