  • Leading a team of 5-6 Registered Nurses and 4-5 CNAs in providing direct care to a patient population consisting of stroke, brain, and spinal cord injuries as well as amputee services for a consistently nationally ranked rehabilitation facility.
  • Responsibilities include assisting, educating, and re-enforcing RN’s and CNAs in direct patient care of patients with Foley’s, PIV’s, PICC’s, Ports, dialysis catheters, wound drains, and wound vacs as well as tracheostomies.
  • Help to coordinate cares with therapy staff and other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure minimal interruption to any goal.
  • Provide patient and family education and high level customer service to help meet the needs of the patients and families to have a successful outcome post discharge.
