The lead operator position is difficult in the Kapton area. As a L/O I was privileged to teach and coach many new operators, from level 1-5. The fundamental skill and safety culture enabled me to cultivate new operators to a path of success to be an asset to our operation . A few have advanced to lead operators on other lines and shifts and are successful in their position. This current position as also opened new avenues to be a part of new training, including relief supervisor duties, six sigma training & tools, and root cause failure analysis meeting. All of which is rewarding and a value to our assets.

Trained on Kapton Line 1 and 2 with the privilege of working with seasoned veteran operators that helped me establish a solid foundation of safety, quality, and fundamentals of operating a complex process with confidence.

Learned the safety culture of DuPont and the physical challenge of the Kapton manufacting Area. Mastered The duties of the pinning zone entries all the way through perfecting the requirements of a stand out level 3 winder operator.
