The lead operator position is difficult in the Kapton area. As a L/O I was privileged to teach and coach many new operators, from level 1-5. The fundamental skill and safety culture enabled me to cultivate new operators to a path of success to be an asset to our operation . A few have advanced to lead operators on other lines and shifts and are successful in their position. This current position as also opened new avenues to be a part of new training, including relief supervisor duties, six sigma training & tools, and root cause failure analysis meeting. All of which is rewarding and a value to our assets.
Trained on Kapton Line 1 and 2 with the privilege of working with seasoned veteran operators that helped me establish a solid foundation of safety, quality, and fundamentals of operating a complex process with confidence.
