This position carried a lot more responsibility. I triage , all service request and work orders and created work orders and field review, but now I am also submitting 811 blue stake tickets for dig sites using pima maps street view and 811 maps. Also attach GPS coordinates for accuracy for new sign/ existing signs or installation of damage signs that have been removed from the ground. I also create work orders for adopt a roadway and neighborhood watch sign and assign all manufactured work orders to sign fabricator. I also assign technicians work for the day when the supervisor needs assistance or in his absence. I am also responsible for the sign shop inventory.
I also operate the forklift to receive any shipments that come in. I verified that all items are correct and 100%, when delivered, I restock the shelves with sign shop inventory, I also remove materials from inventory and assign them to the work orders from technicians to complete work orders on a daily basis.
Also,I help the supervisor with ordering inventory such as signs,any materials that are needed in the shop and tools. Assist the supervisor with vehicle maintenance, drop off and pick ups and schedules, and any modifications to vehicles. Also, when the supervisor is not present, I handle all incoming calls. Any questions and assign work to keep the technicians all workflow moving forward. I also help train people in Maximo system and desktop editor. I have been with Pima County county for eleven years now.

I would do field review any down damage signs in Pima County limits also would mark locations with P.C.S for 811 Blue Stake and attending to any emergencies , such as down stop signs or yield signs or any traffic sign hazard in the roadway. After about a year we changed computer systems. We now use Desktop editor, for our signs out in the field, we use these system to monitor our traffic signs.
