• SSIS package development and maintenance (Lids), worked in a close team as well as an individual environment, and with stakeholders to design, build, and deploy enterprise-sized SSIS packages to meet the needs of the business
• SQL Server Administration (Lids), 04/15, 12/18, worked with the other DBAs to create an on-call schedule to monitor databases, set up user access accounts, monitor database size, and react to and fix job failures as they happen
• Macy’s File Processing Project (Lids), 04/15, 12/18, worked with members of the finance department and members of the IT department on a large project to ingest Macy’s sales files into our system for inventory tracking and sales datath business team leads to report on the current status of the project, present current deliverables, and discuss and set timelines for product deliverables.
• Data Pipeline Upgrade (IU Health), 01/19, Current, created an architectural plan to upgrade our current data pipeline with new ingestion and orchestration platformssive testing of Azure Data Factory functionality and Airflow for ingestion and pipeline orchestration. Wrote technology proposal and selection documentation to present to leadership.
• Azure Databricks / Spark development (IU Health), Worked with the team to perform code changes to the PySpark library which currently performs all ETL within our current data pipeline. Set up regular training sessions with team members to explore, learn, and document our Databricks ETL load process
• Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline creation (IU Health), Created and maintained CI/CD pipelines to manage the build and release of code changes to the data pipeline in Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines were created to trigger on pull requests completion post code review and approval.
• Data quality framework (Booz Allen Hamilton), Created a quality framework to identify when key metrics for certain data products are not being met and alert the team through dashboards and notifications that action is needed. Also worked with the visualization team to create a quality scorecard dashboard for all data products that went to leadership and customers.
