Mark Hall

I have been a part of the CBD team since May, when I came on as a temp. during that time I pressure washed the gum off the sidewalks on Main Street and then particularly bad spots throughout the cbd. I maintained the roses and other flowers in the district, all the while, keeping the city as clean as I could. I worked independently much of the time, but was always ready to shift my focus to meet whatever challenges were assigned to me. Most recently I have been assigned to the Rapid Intervention Team, where I have, as part of a team, cleared many homeless camps. While performing this work I have strived to treat people with dignity and respect. As of Monday, Nov.13, I will be assigned to fill the position vacated in Beautification. I have done this job in the recent past, collecting the recyclables and maintaining the cleanliness of a large portion of the city. We keep the sidewalks clear of trash and other human waste, remove graffiti in a timely manner and report any problem areas in the city. I have previously been assigned to mow and edge lawns, plant flowers, water and weed. We recently pruned the perennial plants back in preparation for winter weather. I do the basic maintenance on the Kabota 4x4 I am assigned to and take care of the tools I use; including gas and electric leaf blowers, electric hedge trimmers and others. I've been trained and use Cartagraph. I believe I work well with others and take direction well.

• Operated and directed/trained others on large paper cutting machines in a large printshop. Maintained and safely operated various printshop equipment.
• Supervised 2 to 4 others, ensuring safe operation and accuracy.

• Performed all maintenance duties in the operation of approximately 100 units in 5 different public housing projects. This included: responding to work orders for repairs, rehabilitating units upon their vacancy and maintaining / supervising the maintenance of the grounds. I did snow removal, painting, drywall repair, light electrical repairs ,water heaters, and maintained/trouble shot boiler systems.
