Conducted environmental health inspections at hotels, motels, pools, spas, schools, trailer parks, and campgrounds. Assisted with Type I, II, and III food establishment inspections during training. Supported public safety through code case complaint inspections related to vectors, including bed bugs, prairie dogs, and waste management. Trained new staff on non-food-related inspections. Nineteen years experience educating and inspecting for the Smoke Free Arizona program. Conducted over 25,000 inspections for the program in Coconino County. Extensive knowledge of state, county and city smoke free laws and ordinances. Responsible for inspection, education and enforcement of the SFA Act. Report writing, education, conflict resolution, time management, collaboration, strong work ethic. Facilitated the following programs under Tobacco and Chronic Disease Prevention Program: Healthy Living, Healthy Living with Diabetes, Walking Strong, A Matter of Balance, Finding Meaning and Hope and Drug Court. Conducted 367 presentations/tabling events at Coconino County schools and businesses.

Responsible for transporting COVID-19 specimens from testing locations to local laboratory. Documented and packaged specimens for delivery to Arizona State Lab. Acted as specimen runner during testing blitzes. Delivered meals to quarantined individuals to support nutritional access. Provided intake services at testing sites, including mobile testing. Joined vaccination site team and participated in mobile vaccination efforts. Often worked in brutal conditions including wind, rain, snow and sub-freezing temperatures. Worked closely with Emergency Management, Nursing Staff, FEMA, DEMA and National Guardsmen. Developed leadership skills and gained a tremendous amount of confidence in my abilities when facing new challenges.
