With over 19 years of extensive experience in the construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground electric power sub-transmission and distribution lines, I have demonstrated expertise in a wide range of essential tasks. This includes constructing high voltage distribution pole lines, conducting repairs on existing lines and equipment, and efficiently handling power line and equipment repairs resulting from storms and aging. Additionally, I am capable of repairing and rerouting services, setting wood, fiberglass, and steel poles, as well as installing various types and sizes of transformers and switches. My skill set also encompasses the installation of overhead street lights and guy wires, with some experience in tree trimming for line clearance. I am proficient in the utilization of live line tools on distribution and sub-transmission circuits over 7500kv and have solid experience in performing work related to the installation and removal of underground cables and equipment. Moreover, my supervisory experience includes overseeing crews engaged in the construction, maintenance, and repair of both overhead and underground electric power distribution lines, cables, and equipment. I take on the responsibility of promptly identifying conditions that could lead to trouble or failure and ensuring that appropriate steps are taken to address existing issues. Vigilance and diligence are key to my work, ensuring that all tasks performed by the crews are executed efficiently and in strict adherence to prescribed standards, plans, and specifications. I prioritize the observance of safety rules and precautions and am adept at managing the operation of facilities by collaborating with other groups to maintain buildings, fuel stations, and facility grounds. I hold the authority to authorize the purchase and use of tools and materials, and am skilled in the direction, training, and leadership of employees. Moreover, I am experienced in directly, coordinately, and managing the activities and work of employees both directly and through subordinate supervisors. Throughout my career, I have consistently enforced the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power standards, safe work practices, and policies in all operational aspects.
