Energy Cost Savings Award - General Motors Bay City Powertrain

Developed strategies for weekend energy shutdown to optimize cost savings.  Strategies were implemented site wide across multiple systems including hydraulic, coolant, pneumatic systems and production equipment.   This enabled the plant to run on a 150HP compressor on weekends rather than a 400HP unit.  This resulted in annual cost savings of over $400,000.00.
