  • My position at Skyline Projects has changed many times over the 4 years I've been with this company. I started as a co-foreman on a rough carpentry framing crew for nearly a year. I was then moved to foreman of a crew of 3-4 employees
  • My responsibilities as foreman included overseeing the employees on various residential projects and ensuring that the projects were completed correctly and in a timely manner
  • I also managed and corrected any outstanding issues that may have come up from supervisors, inspectors, homeowners or subcontractors
  • Afterwards I was moved to foreman of the commercial rough carpentry crew of 4-8 employees. My responsibilities remained the same but on a higher scale
  • 6 months later, as my crew was performing efficiently, I was moved to an estimator position while still following up with my crew. As an estimator, I had the responsibility of analyzing and measuring various commercial plans to acquire an adequate number of materials that were needed for the upcoming projects. The take-off consisted of mainly rough carpentry material
  • As an estimator, I was also put in a position to be a project manager for a 72 unit apartment complex. As the framing project manager, I would meet the needs of the subcontractors and supervisors, all while counting and ordering materials accordingly. I would also send emails and phone calls in order to correct or adjust any issues that the project has faced
  • I made it my highest priority that the subcontractors and employees are to meet all requirements and schedules.

I was born into a family with an extensive construction background. I began framing part time when I was 15 years old and full time when I was 18 after graduating high school.
