Accomplishments

In my time in the United States Marine Corps, I earned a meritorious promotion to the rank of Corporal (E-4).

(A Marine is selected for a meritorious promotion by a commanding officer or commanding staff is they believe the Marine has shown outstanding leadership and performance, and have taken on the responsibilities and duties of a higher grade in an effective manner.)

I was also selected to attend Corporal's Course when I was just a Lance Corporal (E-3).

(Corporals Course is a leadership training course that provides Corporals the basic knowledge and skills necessary to be successful small unit leaders. The Corporals Course has a heavy focus on leadership traits as well as working with peers, and building the mind and body.)
