  • My current day job at Anna Maria College in Paxton, Where I get to operate the dish machine and wash an entire College lunch periods worth of dishes often by my lonesome. 400 plates in a 3 hour period plus countless bowls cups silverware and whatever comes out of the kitchen. In a display of both scale and the fact we have trouble hiring people.
  • I'm Great at keeping up with the plate's cups and Kitchen dishes, And I'm a much loved employee around the kitchen. Without me Operations would grind to a halt.
  • I also do other odd jobs around the kitchen when needed such as fixing small break downs, Some very basic maintenance of the dish machine, Cleaning up various messages around the kitchen, And running supplies when needed.
  • I've actually stayed there two years longer than I probably should have because of how much difficulty we have finding employees to replace me with, but now it's time to move on.
  • Operated commercial dishwashing equipment to maintain cleanliness and efficiency in kitchen operations.
  • Sorted and stacked dishes, utensils, and cookware to ensure orderly workflow during peak service times.

  • Normally I'll be positioned in the Smoothie and shaved Ice stand known as the "bongo bar" Selling cold drinks To customers and keeping the stand up and running.
  • I'm actually so good at it The boss rarely needs to interfere Unless either I'm completely slammed, Or something runs out and I don't have time to refill it between customers.
  • If the Bongo bar isn't present at an event, Usually I'm playing either go-for or Keeping things stocked.
  • Most of the manual labors actually and set up and take down, As we use heavy metal tents To make up the primary smoothie stand, As well As a couple of others under our ownership.

  • Could get about 80-120 dishes washed in 6 hours by hand, after foodstuff was caked on
  • I got along well with the employees at this job too And originally went there so I'd have a stable job whenever the college wasn't in session. Unfortunately for me...

  • My original employer at anna maria, lost the contract in may of 2018 And were replaced with sodexo dining services, Who I currently work for today and am looking to leave.
  • My mother worked there as well... which is how I got the job. I didn't have a driver's license or a car at the time, But wanted my own income That wasn't seasonal.

  • I made it into the Order of the Arrow, The BSA version of NHS, in 2012.
  • I continue to volunteer with the scouts
  • After a long road, and a pandemic-induced delay i manage to get my accociates degree for manufacturing technology from Quinsigamond Community College in 2022.
  • avoided a massive amount of debt by Avoiding any bigger colleges
  • i once built a cardboard model of the International Space Station, and Its Visiting vehicle, fleet when i was a kid
  • i have never once been fired from a job, the 2 i lost were the result of the business going under
