• Diagnose HVAC systems onsite to determine if unit is damaged from lightning or other causes (Power surge, wear and tear, neglect, Etc.)
• Photographing each step in the forensic process to put into a formal report
• Evaluating air handlers, chillers, and compressors including electronic and mechanical components
• Performed compressor winding insulation test
• Recovering refrigerant following EPA section 608 guidelines
• Removing compressors and cutting them open to determine the cause of the failure
• Sand-bead blasting mechanical components to gather detailed evidence
• Ascertaining any damage in the residence resulting from a power surge or lightning discharge
