  • Assembling crossarms with insulators, cutouts, fitting poles for attachment of transformers, various hardware etc.
  • Worked in underground vaults for asbestos abatement, splice assembly and vault inspection.
  • Transported heavy equipment, wood and steel poles for distribution and transmission. Also transported unassembled steel transmission towers in various terrain and weather conditions. Transported bundled wire dollies.
  • Operated tele-lifts, forklifts, digger derrick and various lifting equipment.
  • Accomplished all these tasks without any recordable incidents.

  • Assisted Journeyman Lineman with work to learn trade and practice techniques.
  • Used climbers, bucket lifts and safety equipment for work at heights reaching as much as 200 feet above ground.
  • Positioned boom trucks and man lifts to reach lines, transformers and existing connections.
  • Installed and maintained overhead pole components and Underground Residential Distribution (URD) equipment.
  • Worked with construction crews to route and re-route power lines around new builds either via above-ground lines or below-ground utilities.
